Dr. Maria Montessori was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize on three occasions for promoting peace amongst children. Montessori education celebrates diversity that makes us special. Thus in conjunction with Eid Mubarak, the Klebang learners rolled out in their very best Malay traditional attire. They came to school in all colours and patterns of traditional wear. The learners learnt to greet each other for the celebration and ate food that was popular during the End Mubarak period.
In the quick paced world we now live, it is crucial to teach our young learners compassion and understanding for each other's differences. We hope that Dr. Montessori inspires a new generation of children who are compassionate and celebrates the diversity that makes all of us special.
