Young student can, and do, make a big difference. In conjunction with Aalto Academy's first year as a primary school, we are diving into a week long of activities for Earth Week, to raise awareness about the importance of protecting our planet and taking action.
The over consumption of resources and creation of plastics are creating a global crisis in waste disposal. Our first Earth Week project is to explore the impact made without our classrooms. By collecting used containers and packages over a period of 2 weeks, our students hope to discover the volume of waste they create and subsequently, to discuss and implement ways to reduce the volume.
